1. Who We Are

MonkOpinion.com (the "Website," "MonkiPoinion," "we," "us" or "our") is operated by AWL METAVERSE PVT LTD, with its principal office at SCF 5 DRDA MARKET JIND HARYANA. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed and protected when you visit the Website, submit an anonymous post, report content, contact us, or use any referral or directory feature.

The Website exists to support respectful discussion of subjects that may be socially sensitive or difficult to discuss openly, including relationships, sexuality, LGBTQ+ experiences, libido, affairs, mental health, crime awareness, and other unspoken personal emotional burdens.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through monkopinion.com and any official web pages, forms or services that link to it. It does not govern independent websites, social networks, messaging services, clinics, doctors, therapists, or other third parties.

3. Public Anonymity Is Not Absolute Technical Anonymity

Posts are intended to appear publicly without the author's real name. We do not require a government identity document merely to submit a post. However, anonymous publication does not mean that no data exists or that a person can never be identified. Hosting systems automatically process raw IP addresses and browser logs, and law-enforcement requests may require preservation of data within our control.

4. Information We Process

We process content you submit (story titles, categories, bodies, and author display names) as well as basic technical security information (IP addresses, request logs, and secure cookies) necessary to secure the server and prevent spamming attempts.

5. Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes. First, those strictly necessary for security, load balancing, submission integrity, and remembering choices, which we set ourselves. Second, advertising technologies set by Google when we display advertisements, as described in Section 6. Third, measurement cookies set by Google Analytics, as described in Section 7. Apart from Google AdSense and Google Analytics, described in Sections 6 and 7, we do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or profiling services. We do keep a simple count of how many distinct visitors have opened each story, tied to a session identifier and not to your name or IP address. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking advertising cookies does not stop you from reading or submitting stories.

6. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We display advertisements on the Website through Google AdSense, which is provided by Google LLC and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited. This is how the Website pays for itself.

When a page that carries advertising loads, Google and its advertising partners may set or read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser, and may receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. Google may use this to show advertisements, including advertisements based on your earlier visits to this and other websites, to measure how advertisements perform, and to prevent fraud and abuse. Google decides what it collects and how it uses it under its own privacy policy, and acts as an independent controller of that information.

We do not send the stories you submit, your author display name, or your contact messages to Google, and we do not link any advertising identifier to a story or an author. However, advertisements are matched in part to the content of the page they appear on, so Google's systems may read the public pages that carry advertising, including published stories.

You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, or, in Europe, Your Online Choices. More detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Advertising is not shown to our moderators while signed in.

7. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited, to understand how many people visit the Website, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they use. This helps us decide what to improve.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives information such as your browser and device type, the pages you view, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, which Google does not store in full for Analytics. We have switched off the use of this data for advertising personalisation. We do not send the stories you submit, your author display name, or your contact messages to Google Analytics, and we do not link analytics data to a story or an author. Google acts under its own privacy policy, and you can read how it handles data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies and scripts in your browser. Analytics is not loaded for our moderators while signed in.

3. Suicide and Self-Harm Protection

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please seek immediate licensed medical attention or crisis care. Our platform is not continuously monitored in real-time and cannot respond to immediate crisis calls.
